The Rail Apprenticeship Programme offers a direct route into a skilled career in the rail industry, combining hands-on training, real-world experience and industry recognised qualifications.
Delivered in partnership with On Track Technicians, South Eastern Regional College (SERC) and Translink, the programme develops the next generation of rail professionals through practical, on-the-job learning supported by expert training.

City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 Diploma for Railway Engineering Operatives
Paid, practical experience within the rail industry
Skills transferable across rail and wider engineering careers
A strong foundation for long-term progression and employment
Over the past five years, 25+ apprentices have completed the programme, with many progressing into permanent rail roles and others moving into related engineering disciplines.
